What if the power or WiFi goes down?
Emergency shutoff still runs locally. Sensors talk to the hub and actuator over a local radio link, so a WiFi or internet outage will not stop a shutoff. In a power outage, pull the manual clutch ring and turn the valve by hand.
Do I need a plumber?
No. The actuator clamps over your existing quarter-turn ball valve. No pipe cutting, no special tools.
Are there monthly fees?
None. The Tuya / Smart Life app is free on iOS and Android with unlimited push alerts.
Does it work with Alexa and Google Home?
